The extra jam from
Biosolidale is made exclusively with the finest fruit according to the principles of organic farming, this is where the
Organic Mixed Berries Compote is born
Organic Mixed Berries Compote
according to the principles of
organic farming and with the
sole addition of cane sugar, also organic, without any thickener.
The entire production process is artisanal, from the harvesting of the fruit to the cutting of the peel.
In our project we have embraced
Organic as a choice and as a philosophy, we respect the land and its fruits. Our philosophy also includes supporting the small businesses of our local area; we have created a network of small businesses operating with the same organic philosophy as ours, in order to offer an alternative to the traditional supermarket. Raising consumer awareness about conscious purchasing and the importance of
short supply chains and organic products.
For all our products the philosophy is always the same: for jams and preserves we use only organic products,
plenty of fruit and a little organic cane sugar. The oil-preserved vegetables and spreads are made with the best
local fresh vegetables, to which we add top-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Lazio, to achieve a product of unique excellence.
We are located in Fanano (Mo), in the
Frignano Regional Park in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines at 780 m above sea level, surrounded by green meadows, amid chestnut woods. A true family-run farm. Here we organically grow and process berries (raspberries, blackberries, red and black currants, gooseberries). The blueberries come from wild foraging within the Frignano Park. Our products are certified by ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification).
According to our philosophy, we not only follow organic farming, but all our activities follow a lifestyle choice that includes waste separation, energy saving, rainwater harvesting, and a photovoltaic system. We are in fact
environmental quality suppliers of the Frignano Park. We try to make a
contribution to the environment, which we believe is the foundation for an excellent quality product.
We prefer
growing berries because it is fruit that grows wild in our mountains anyway. Our grandparents used to gather it not only to supplement their diet but also their meagre income. Berries were already known in the past for their health properties. Today we talk about nutraceuticals (nutraceutical science combines nutrition and pharmaceuticals, hence the name). Today this fruit is
valued both in homeopathic remedies as well as for a healthy diet.
Made with
fruit grown on the farm and sweetened with concentrated grape must.
Try it for a
healthy breakfast, on bread or rusks. Suitable
for those with sugar intolerances, diabetics, or low-calorie diets. Ideal with aged cheeses or ricotta.
