With the Dospa brand, in Carinthia, in Southern Austria, in the medieval fortress-town of Friesach, I discovered a monastery of nuns from the Teutonic Order who produce delicious marmalades, jams and other specialities with organic fruit from their own land, strictly hand-harvested and checked, in strict observance of the order's secret recipes: this is where the Pflaumen Chutney BIO plum chutney is born

Pflaumen Chutney BIO plum chutney

Chutney made with Plums and Lemon prepared by hand with selected plums and refined with thyme lemon as an extremely delicate accompaniment. Prepared strictly by hand with its extremely fresh and fruity summer flavour, which pairs wonderfully with prosciutto, with cheeses and to accompany fondue. Perfect for filling flatbreads and ciabatta rolls paired with a good glass of wine! With a sweet-and-sour flavour! Chutney or chatni is a sweet-and-sour sauce of Indian origin widely used in English cuisine. Here it is prepared in a refined version and is perfect with rice dishes, fish, boiled meats and grilled meats. There are countless versions, more or less sweet or spicy, and the secret lies in using fresh, carefully selected vegetables and a good balance in the mix of spices used. The result is surprising, with a unique and refined taste. It goes very well as a filling for focaccia with prosciutto. Try it to accompany fondue! Pure LUXURY in pure QUALITY! All the jams and sauces are made by the nuns of the Teutonic Order monastery, following secret recipes handed down for over two centuries! Precious delicacies with a unique flavour!  A rarity!           Austria Bio Garantie/Certified Organic Farming
