Extra Mirabelle Plum Jam 225 g
Sour cherries, blackberries, figs, apples, mirabelle plums, white cherry, Angelica pear, peaches, raspberries, dog rose and in particular has brought back to life the sour cherries or Amarene di Cantiano a product of excellence since the early 1900s. Extra Mirabelle Plum Jam:  it is 100% natural and contains no preservatives, colourings or thickeners, containing only fruit, sugar, citrus pectin. The fruits are harvested with extreme care, sheltered from the sun, in order to preserve their properties. Once picked, the fruit is washed within a few hours and cooked at low temperature. It is then pitted and, by raising the temperature, brought to a boil. Sugar is gradually added until the ideal consistency is reached, and the jars are filled while still hot, thus not requiring pasteurisation. The mirabelle plum, or simply rusticano, is a plant belonging to the Rosaceae family. It blooms between March and April with white or pink petalled flowers. The fruit is fleshy and its skin colour ranges from yellow to red. A wonderful rustic fruit rich in Vitamin C, antioxidants, pectin and fibre.
