Perlage has chosen to bring to Italy the small Maison Ãric Collinet on the Champagne hills, where it produces Champagne from certified organic farming: this is where Champagne Eric Collinet Cuvée Harmonie Extra Brut is born

Champagne Eric Collinet Cuvée Harmonie Extra Brut

The Maison is located in a village in the south of the Côte Des Bars, a wine-growing region within the Champagne production area. Here, on its 2.25 hectares, it grows Pinot Noir (83%) and Chardonnay (17%). Here the vines embrace woods and fields, blending in perfect harmony with nature. The clay and limestone soils, legacy of the ancient Jurassic period, infuse the wines with a subtle minerality, steeped in the saline memory of our depths. All these elements give the Champagne a marked minerality along with hints of flowers and fruit from the territory.

Our grape varieties

On our two hectares we mainly grow Pinot Noir, a variety that gives power and complexity to our wines. Pinot Noir is in fact renowned for its red fruit aromas and its ability to produce generous, structured wines of great depth. We also grow Chardonnay. This white grape variety brings freshness and finesse, and gives notes of citrus and white flowers. The balance between these two varieties allows us to create harmonious vintages.

the Maison Ãric Collinet

We have always been advocates of respect for nature and the environment. We use practices aimed at a sustainable future. We grass over our vineyards, which not only protects the soil but also promotes biodiversity, while at the same time reducing erosion. The same goes for agroforestry: by integrating trees into our plots, we create favourable microclimates. Every smallest gesture is designed to preserve the balance of our terroir and guarantee authentic wines. Since 2011, in fact, we have obtained Organic and Eco-Cert certification. Ours is a small production of about 8,000 bottles. Unique and elegant wines. Our philosophy and values are perfectly in tune with Perlage. Ours is artisanal work with the utmost attention to quality. Our Champagnes are characterised by a remarkable evolutionary complexity: for more than half an hour after opening, both wines continue to evolve, offering ever-new aromatic and retro-olfactory notes. To fully enjoy the experience these sparkling wines can offer, we suggest taking the right amount of time and savouring them through all their different evolutionary stages.
