Cocoa beans coated in dark chocolate
Domori's cocoa beans are of the Trinitario variety, an aromatic cocoa, whose production covers 8% of the world's cocoa harvest.
Trinitario is a cocoa born from the hybridization of the Criollo and Forastero cocoa varieties and therefore possesses characteristics common to both: it is resistant and offers high yields, just like a Forastero, yet it has a
rich and noble aromatic profile, like Criollo cocoa.
Domori has recovered this precious cocoa variety, which it harvests from plantations located between Latin America and Africa: in Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Madagascar and Tanzania.
The persistence and aromatic character of the Trinitario variety beans combine with the roundness of the dark chocolate that coats them, in an interplay of textures that surprises the palate.
Cocoa beans
have high nutritional properties, are an excellent antioxidant and offer great aromatic character, ideal to enjoy as a snack or to accompany spirits.
