For
Domori quality is an undisputed and fundamental value, the company in fact
controls the entire production chain starting from
selected cacao chosen by their own experts who ensure quality standards by selecting the best raw materials, this is how the
rare and prized Criollo 80% Chocolate was born
Rare and prized Criollo 80% Chocolate
Domori was the first chocolate producer to exclusively use traditional cultivation methods with
aromatic cacao plants. A bold choice, because these are the
rarest cacao varieties, delicate and with lower yields. In fact, fine cacao represents only
10% of the world's cacao harvest, while
Criollo, the
rarest cacao variety in the world, represents
0.001%. Since its founding, Domori has fought to protect these prized cacao varieties, their natural habitat and the farmers who work on the plantations. In 2002, Domori invested in
Hacienda San José, preserving seven different varieties of Criollo cacao, creating a universal world heritage for its
biodiversity. The blend line is born from the skilful blending of different Criollo cacao varieties and is dedicated to those who want to discover the authentic nature of cacao, without compromise. Domori has always chosen to use only two ingredients for its chocolate bars: cacao and sugar, for a unique sensory experience! In its
80% cacao version it offers delicious tasting notes of
raisins, dates, dried figs and an extraordinary smoothness.
