Birrificio Corzano is the result of Walter's project, which combined the family business's farming and agricultural production with a passion for craft beer  and that's how San Isidro Beer was born

San Isidro Beer

Fuelled by a passion for beer and after numerous experiences abroad. Travelling around Europe, little by little, over time he learned and discovered all the secrets of craft beer production. Walter decided it was time to put it into practice and begin his own journey into the world of beer. Having found the right place, right in the heart of the green Mugello countryside, he started his project and completed the brewery works in 2014.  But the Corzano name has a long history in Mugello dating back to 1985. Since that year, the family has run the Corzano Agriturismo, where today, alongside hospitality services, they also raise Limousine cattle and produce extra virgin olive oil, figs, chestnuts, pure saffron, and medicinal herbs. This beer is dedicated to Sant'Isidoro, protector of harvests, highlighting the strong bond that the master brewers of Birrificio Corzano 1985 have with the land and their own agricultural production, as the company grows in-house much of the barley used for brewing. San Isidro is a Dubbel with a lovely amber colour, inspired by Abbey beers. The serving temperature is important, and should never drop below 5-6 degrees (and never exceed 12-13 degrees) to encourage the development of aromas and the formation of a good foam head.
