Birrificio Corzano is the result of Walter's project, who combined his family farm's livestock and agricultural production with his passion for craft beer â and that's how Birra Corzanina was born

Birra Corzanina

Driven by his passion for beer and after numerous experiences abroad. Travelling slowly around Europe, over time he learned and discovered all the secrets of craft beer production. Walter decided it was time to put this into practice and begin his own journey into the world of beer. Having found the right place, still surrounded by the greenery of Mugello, he began his project and completed the brewery in 2014. But the name Corzano has a long history in Mugello dating back to 1985. Since that year, the family has run the Corzano farmhouse, where today, alongside hospitality services, they raise Limousine cattle and produce extra virgin olive oil, figs, chestnuts, pure saffron and medicinal herbs. The name of this beer comes from a breed of cow, highlighting the strong bond between Birrificio Corzano 1985 and the countryside, as it is a farm brewery, meaning that the barley used to produce the beers is largely grown on the same farm. Corzanina is a pale beer inspired by the Belgian Saison style. Fresh and spicy, with a moderately bitter finish. The serving temperature is important, and should never drop below 5-6 degrees (and never exceed 12-13 degrees) to promote the development of its aromas and flavours and the formation of a good head of foam. Alcohol content: 6% vol
