Frico is perhaps the most representative food specialty of Friulian cuisine. These are cubes of fresh cheese, aged cheese and potatoes and onions that are cooked in the oven. It can be enjoyed hot: just heat it in a non-stick saucepan without oil or butter for max 2 minutes per side or pass it briefly in the microwave. On a bed of rocket it is a simple but rich and tasty second course, or on a crouton of polenta a delicious appetizer, both in the classic version and in the one with herbs or with speck.

Pezzetta
