The Genuina

This beer, like most of the beers of Birrificio Valdarno, has its secret in the use of wild herbs. It is a red beer with a slight aroma of lemon balm and thyme which is enhanced on the palate by combining it with mushrooms, cured meats or even dried fruit.

We are in the province of Arezzo, here is the Valdarno Superiore “BVS” Brewery an artisan reality that produces top fermented beers inspired by their territory, the production uses the best selected raw materials and it is here that the Pratomagno Strong Ale beer

In addition to the love for one's territory, Tuscany, the passion for beer cannot be missing to make craft beers. Uncompromising beer with no added flavors or preservatives. To make its products, the company has a little secret: water. In fact, it has a private well that draws directly from the groundwater of pure water underlying the brewery generated from local sources. Here we draw on particularly hard water rich in minerals. A feature that helps the yeasts in their fermentation and a key element in being able to produce a quality craft beer.

Pratomagno Strong Ale beer

The Master Brewer here expresses creativity and dares with special malts and with characterizing hops. Here nature is generous with the precious mountain herbs of the Pratomagno. Land known for its monasteries which for centuries have perpetuated the wise use of mountain herbs and flowers.

Red beer with amber reflections, produced with Pale Malts and special malts and only one type of hop (Single hop) and flavored with wild herbs from Pratomagno: lemon balm and thyme.
Fine ivory white foam, carbonation from English Ale. Notes of the herbs used on the nose. In the mouth: malt, honey and caramel. Low bitterness and medium body, nice balance.
Excellent drinkability.

Birrificio Valdarno Superiore

Si fa un gran parlare di birrifici o microbirrifici italiani, un trend sempre più in crescita che vede coinvolti giovani imprenditori e brand di successo. Non tutti, però, possono vantare la qualità offerta dal Birrificio Valdarno Superiore. Sono due i soci fondatori di questo birrificio nato nel 2013 e situato in Località Malafrasca, zona del Valdarno. Giovani, allegri e determinati, la loro birra custodisce un segreto: l'acqua. Ebbene sì, il BVS è uno tra i pochi birrifici italiani che attinge direttamente alle falde di acqua purissima sottostanti al birrificio, sorgenti conosciute prima dagli Etruschi, poi dai Romani. In nessuno dei loro prodotti sono presenti aromi o conservanti artificiali, il risultato è una birra capace di coniugare innovazione e tradizione. È difficile consigliare una birra in particolare, lo è ancora di più resistere a provarle tutte.
