Tuna Roastfish

Salumeria di mare is the pure expression of salumeria (cured meat craftsmanship) and norcineria (traditional pork butchery) applied to seafood products. Tuna Roastfish

To prepare the Roastfish, the tuna is cooked "English style". Made from the lean fillet of the finest yellowfin tuna caught through sustainable fishing in the rich waters of the Mediterranean. The tuna fillets are prepared according to the "English style" method, meaning they are seared on the outside and flavoured with aromatic herbs, while the inside stays pink and fresh. The tuna roastfish has the characteristics of seared fresh tuna, making it a perfect food for people following a low-calorie diet without giving up on flavour. It has a low calorie content (only 82 kcal per 100 g), is rich in protein and low in fat. It also contains omega 3 and omega 6 fats, valuable allies for our body, minerals such as potassium, selenium and phosphorus, and B vitamins. Being also gluten-free, it can be safely enjoyed by coeliacs too. Tuna Roast is perfect served as a tagliata (sliced) alongside a nice side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
