The acquisition of knowledge about the healing power of Eastern botanicals has made it possible to build an enormous wealth of knowledge on herbal medicine over the centuries of the Order's history. In this tradition, the new terraces of the Weyar monastery were built, which will preserve this knowledge and carry it into the future. SILD Honey & Heather uniquely combines notes of Bavarian honey with delicate hints of heather that characterise the landscape of Sylt island. Its distinctive sweetness is based on the careful selection of the finest malt whiskies, matured in hand-selected white oak barrels.
