The wines from the Baglio Baiata Alagna winery convey the tradition and love for their own land. 50 hectares of land divided into various plots between Marsala, Mazara, Trapani and Salemi. The Marsala Vergine 1999 is a dry fortified wine, produced in limited quantity from the best Grillo and Catarratto grapes, grown in the Marsala and Mazara del Vallo area. It is an excellent meditation wine and after-dinner wine, the Marsala Vergine 1999 is a dry fortified wine aged in large oak barrels where a slow oxidative ageing process takes place. It should be tasted after at least 5-15 min at a temperature of 15-20 °C so as to give the wine time to fully release its aromas. The wine may show a slight sediment because it is neither filtered nor refrigerated in order to preserve its organoleptic qualities.
