Frico Classico Friulano

In 2017  Pezzetta celebrated ninety years of history and throughout all this time  the quality and passion in the work carried out have always remained unchanged over time. Faithful to their Friulian homeland and its products, once they had refined their expertise, they devoted themselves to the world of cheese and its products, and among the local specialities we find the  Frico Classico Friulano The Frico Classico encapsulates the essence of Friuli, representing the culinary heritage of an entire region. It is prepared with a selection of fresh and aged cheeses, cut into cubes and mixed with potatoes. It is pre-cooked in the oven and vacuum-packed, to ensure the longest possible shelf life. Just heat it for a couple of minutes in the microwave or in a non-stick pan with no added fat. Frico with potatoes is a typical dish from Friulian cuisine with roots in the Carnia area. Traditionally it was made with cheese scraps, but today Friulian cheeses (both fresh and aged) are carefully selected and cut into cubes. Mixed with potatoes and pre-cooked in the oven. The product we offer only needs to be warmed in a non-stick pan, or in the microwave with no added oil or butter. Frico is flavoured in several tasty variations, starting from the classic one with potatoes! It is individually vacuum-packed to ensure a long shelf life.
