San Daniele raw ham needs no great introduction. It is a product recognized as DOP since 1977 by the Italian State and since 1996 by the European Union. Only fresh thighs of heavy Italian pigs are used with the sole addition of sea salt. No additives or preservatives for a high protein product with few "good" (monounsaturated) fats and easily digestible. The slow aging in the area of San Daniele in Friuli, not far from the sea or the Carnic Alps creates this gastronomic marvel characterized by a perfect balance of aroma, taste and softness.

In 2017  Piece has celebrated ninety years of history and in all this time the quality and passion in the work carried out have always remained unchanged over time. Loyal to own land of Friuli and its products, one of the products a source of pride and pride of Friuli Venezia Giulia is the San Daniele raw ham.

A ham that of San Daniele which represents a Friulian DOP excellence and widely known for its goodness even worldwide.

It is characterized by a delicate flavor thanks to the particular seasoning due both to the microclimate of the place thanks to the air and the rolling hills of San Daniele, both to the ability of the producers, who seriously perpetuate a millennial tradition.

It is a healthy, highly nutritious, digestible and low-fat product. Perhaps its secret is the microclimate of the morainic hills, but probably behind its incomparable goodness there is the work and experience of the producers who for generations have chosen only fresh thighs and sea salt as the main ingredients, without adding chemical additives or preservatives .

Healthy and safe, manufactured exclusively with Italian pigs and sea salt, is constantly treated and monitored with patience, passion and attention for at least 12 months before being served.

Tantalizing, inviting, soft and appetizing San Daniele ham is appreciated for its "sweet and refined" flavour, for its unmistakable scent, high digestibility and high nutritional power.

Shipments of perishable products, which need to be stored at a controlled temperature, are made on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For orders placed from Thursday to Sunday, the shipment will take place in the following week, in order to avoid stocks on Saturday and Sunday and the consequent risk of alteration of the food.

La storia dei formaggi Pezzetta inizia al femminile nel 1927 in un paesino del Friuli quando nonna Ninfa, rimasta vedova in giovane età e con tre figli piccoli da sfamare, grazie ad una licenza alimentare baratta al mercato di Udine prodotti del suo orto con forme di “Latteria” che stagiona, affina e rivende al suo paese. L'esperienza e la passione per i formaggi si tramanda per tre generazioni ed oggi i fratelli Marco e Paolo Pezzetta dispongono di 12 celle per stagionature differenti, di un  caseificio ad Ovaro a 527 m s.l.m. nell'alta Carnia e di un prosciuttificio a San Daniele del Friuli. Ecco perché sono in grado di offrirci non solo stupendi e pluripremiati formaggi, ma anche prodotti tipici del territorio friulano: un territorio che riserba inaspettate sorprese ed è in gran parte ancora da scoprire.
