The Company
A family history of wine, for three generations the Ferrin family has been producing wine here, in Middle Friuli. We are in fact in the heart of the Friuli Controlled Designation of Origin area, which has always been suited to the cultivation of vines. In our 12 hectares of vineyards, we have always used environmentally friendly methods with the aim of producing genuine grapes respecting our natural environment. The values we carry forward are tradition,eco-sustainability and respect for the environment, love for our land. We produce wines that reflect the spirit that animates us all by carrying forward the best Friulian winemaking traditions.
Majon red
It is obtained from Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grapes harvested by hand, the best are subjected to a process drying in the house for about a month. The must thus obtained is rich in sugars and aromas. It is aged for at least 12 months in oak tonneau in 500 liter wooden barrels.
A wine that bewitches and seduces and that paria in an unmistakable way of the territory in which it was born.
Body with 14.5° of alcohol by volume, with a beautiful purple color. Seductive for its aromas of blackberries and berries and with a soft and round flavour.
Recommended pairings: Perfect on important occasions with strong dishes such as roasts, game and aged cheeses.
