The Company
A family history of wine, for three generations the Ferrin family has been producing wine here, in Middle Friuli. We are in fact in the heart of the Friuli Controlled Designation of Origin area, which has always been suited to the cultivation of vines. In our 12 hectares of vineyards, we have always used environmentally friendly methods with the aim of producing genuine grapes respecting our natural environment. The values we carry forward are tradition,eco-sustainability and respect for the environment, love for our land. We produce wines that reflect the spirit that animates us all by carrying forward the best Friulian winemaking traditions.
VARAMUS
Obtained with the best Merlot grapes, traditional vinification and aging for at least 8 months in oak tonneaux and subsequent refinement in the bottle.
Curiosity: Varamus is the Latin name of the river Varno which is born near the Ferrin Merlot vineyard.
Of color garnet red, intense and dry flavour, aroma spicy with a hint of blackcurrant.

Recommended pairing: Perfect to pair with red meats. Excellent with roasts and game.
