Frico is perhaps the most representative food specialty of Friulian cuisine. These are fresh cheese cubes, aged cheeses and potatoes that are baked in the oven. It can be enjoyed hot: just heat it in a non-stick pan without oil or butter for a maximum of 2 minutes per side or pass it briefly in the microwave. On a bed of rocket it is a simple but rich and tasty second course, or on a polenta crouton a delicious appetizer, both in the classic version and in the one with herbs or speck.

Pezzetta
