Social Dairy of Manciano was born from an initial project of a few breeders who in the sixties decided to collaborate together and combine their work to enhance the sheep's milk of their lands and the production of Pecorino cheese this is how the Pecorino Biologico.
We are in Maremma a land dedicated to pastoralism which has been a form of sustenance over the years for many families. Gradually the cooperative has grown and today it has more than 250 members who supply their own milk and at the same time the members have increasingly invested in the management of continuous improvement milk and animal welfare, in fact, the sheep can enjoy the surrounding nature and feed on herbs rich in essences and aromatic plants.
