"Granda" era il nome usato per indicare praticamente la provincia di Cuneo, territorio delle Langhe che si snoda tra il mar Ligure, Montecarlo, la Savoia e Torino. Qui tra le Alpi ed il mare si snodava una delle più importanti vie del sale ed in passato innumerevoli sono stati i mercanti, soprattutto di acciughe, che l'hanno solcata. Provincia "Granda" per la sua notevole estensione (la quarta in Italia) ma anche per la ricchezza dei prodotti della sua terra che comprendono oltre ad ortaggi e frutta anche castagne, funghi, nocciole e tartufi.
Qui il signor Sergio Luciano nel suo laboratorio artigianale, oltre a sughi particolari e delicati come il ragù di fagiano e i dolci della tradizione piemontese come lo zabajone e le pesche all'amaretto, ha creato una linea biologica di pesti, sughi e verdure di altissima qualità lavorate lo stretto necessario  per esaltare al massimo i sapori dei vari ingredienti. Il suo motto è: il ritorno alle origini è il nostro modo di proiettarci verso il futuro! Così per esempio nel suo pesto alla Genovese, nella crema di noci o nella composta di albicocche si sentono la bontà dei prodotti e si avverte la sapienza di una lavorazione rispettosa della tradizione contadina.
