In our project we have married the Biological as a choice and as a philosophy: we respect the land and its fruits. It is also part of our philosophy to support small businesses in our area. For this reason, we have created a network of small businesses operating with the same organic philosophy as we do, in order to offer themselves as an alternative to the traditional supermarket. We sensitise consumers to conscious buying and the importance of short supply chain and organic products. For all our products the philosophy is always the same: for jams and preserves We only use organic products, lots of fruit and a little organic cane sugar. The pickles and creams are made with the best fresh local vegetables to which we add the highest quality Lazio Extra Virgin Olive Oil, to obtain a product of unique excellence.
Quinoa flour is realised according to the principles of’biological agriculture and the production process is artisanal.
How we work:
The MOLINO AGOSTINI organic farm is located in the Marche region. Here we produce by vocation. A stone plant with three millstones. For three generations. We started organic farming in the 1970s. Today we can proudly say we are 100%. organic and QM certified, Marche quality recognised by the Marche region, we are the only mill that boasts this certification.
Flour, which is organic, is obtained by milling traditional cereals such as wheat or alternative ones such as barley, maize, etc.. Cultivated using organic farming methods, it must be certified to be sold as such. To be considered organic, the cereal must also be certified by special control bodies. These bodies verify the requirements of the farm that produced it.
Checks are carried out each year to ascertain the conditions required for certification. The cereal for the production of organic flour is grown without the use of synthetic chemicals (fungicides, herbicides, chemical fertilisers, pesticides and pesticides) and cannot be derived from GMO seeds.
