Colorino is a native grape variety, genetically child of Sangiovese. It is a grape with a very small berry which leads to very low yields. In the Il Corno estate, a company clone was discovered that derives from nineteenth-century plants with a free foot that allows the vinification of Colorino even in purity.
It gives an impenetrable red wine that is extremely long-lived: it can age in the bottle for even 20-30 years without problems.
Wine very complex, harmonic but well balanced.
