Laurus:the name originates from the ancient Celtic language which means “green” due to the evergreen characteristic of the laurel. The adjective nobilis instead indicates nobility, in fact since ancient times the laurel has been used for the creation of crowns and ornaments worn by emperors and leaders. There Laurel crown It is symbolic to represent poets. It is an evergreen plant, with lance-shaped leaves and yellow flowers. It blooms in spring and is widespread in temperate climates. Spontaneous in plains and hills. It is mainly collected in winter, and its leaves are used.

Az. Agr. Due Palmenti si trova a 610 m slm, nel cuore della Sicilia orientale, alle falde dell’Etna, verdi colline cullate da inverni miti ed estati calde e irradiate dal soleggiate. Il terreno beneficia da elementi stratificatisi da epoche remote in occasioni delle colate laviche. Qui il giovane agronomo Martino ha scelto di dedicarsi alla coltivazione delle erbe aromatiche.  Il  suolo è particolarmente ricco e vocato alla coltivazione di erbe che grazie vicinanza con l’Etna riescono a sprigionare caratteristiche organolettiche di particolare pregio ed aromaticità.
