Since 2012 the Kauss Brewery produces its beers with the high added value of territoriality, this is where beer is born Kauss Nagoj
Kauss Nagoj
We produce our beers with only local raw materials. A project born from those who live and work in the mountains and want to enhance the Alpine valleys and those who live there 12 months a year. Alpine Rye, barley and Piedmontese raw materials, cultivated and transformed. The goal is to promote and enhance a territory rich in history and emotions.
In the fields, weeding is done with mechanical means and not with the use of synthetic products and the crops are alternated on the land to enrich it naturally, avoiding soil impoverishment. In these "high lands" their project was born, aimed at enhancing rural economies and the Alpine territory, rich in history and traditions. The protagonists are the small producers from whom the Kauss brewery buys these precious raw materials, thus controlling the entire supply chain.
This beer inspired by the Hoppy Lager style has a character heavily hopped thanks to the intense dry hopping. With a light amber color it gives herbaceous and fruity notes. Produced with low fermentation, unlike its more famous IPA cousins, it gives a clean nose that highlights the virtues of hops and it enhances the aroma and bitterness.
Dedicated to those who love thedecidedly bitter.
