{"id":33588,"date":"2024-11-26T10:21:19","date_gmt":"2024-11-26T09:21:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.foodaloo.it\/?post_type=product&#038;p=33588"},"modified":"2026-05-17T14:54:56","modified_gmt":"2026-05-17T12:54:56","slug":"farina-di-castagne","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.foodaloo.it\/en\/shop\/farina-di-castagne\/","title":{"rendered":"Chestnut Flour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are on the slopes of\u00a0<strong>Pratomagno<\/strong>, in one of the most beautiful areas of the\u00a0<strong>Tuscany<\/strong> , the company develops with plots of land that develop between 300 and 1300 meters above sea level, an ideal physical situation to create a wide range of products, this is how the company was born\u00a0<strong>Chestnut Flour<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Chestnut Flour<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>on the Loro Ciuffenna plateau near the vines and olive trees, we grow different Mediterranean species at 300 metres above sea level, while <strong>in the mountains we collect<\/strong> the berries and the <strong>chestnuts<\/strong> and a good part of the fruit we use for our jams.<\/p>\n<p>We have acquired a great deal over the years<strong>\u00a0experience<\/strong>\u00a0in the field of organic agriculture and in the processing of agricultural products. But our attention beyond the\u00a0<strong>cultivation of the land<\/strong>, is addressed<strong>\u00a0to the processing sector.\u00a0<\/strong>From this idea were born series of\u00a0<strong>specialty<\/strong>\u00a0typical of our region and our mountains, but at the same time they present that characteristic exclusivity of recipes that combine\u00a0<strong>often forgotten tastes and flavors.\u00a0<\/strong>Our intent is to offer recipes that require long and accurate processing and make them available so you can savor unique and traditional flavours. Each of our products has a unique flavor. Prepared following each phase, with simplicity of methods and ingredients\u00a0<strong>genuine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We have a great desire that makes us carry forward our project every day: to leave our children a world that takes on\u00a0<strong>better than in the past<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0<strong>rediscovery of our roots!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This flour is made only with <strong>chestnuts<\/strong>\u00a0coming from the\u00a0<strong>chestnut groves of the farm<\/strong>. Dried in the characteristic\u00a0<strong>Pratomagno dryers<\/strong>. Dry slowly over a high heat <strong>wood of<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>chestnut<\/strong>. They are then shelled and selected one by one. Chestnuts completely devoid of pericarp are used. Drying with a wood fire gives a nice toasted aroma. A natural scent typical of a product that is made according to tradition unchanged over time. A <strong>flour typically<\/strong> <strong> sweet, it is finely ground <\/strong>and it has its own beautiful color<strong> light hazelnut.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ideal for traditional sweet preparations but not only.
