Hazelnut and chocolate, can you imagine a more successful combination? In this extremely velvety cream there is the 50% of Nocciola Tonda by Giffoni Grimaldi, combined with the precious Valrhona cocoa. The mix gives life to a small pleasure to be enjoyed in purity, spoonful after spoonful, to give a touch of intense greediness to cakes and biscuits or, of course, to warm lightly toasted bread.

There Joy hazelnut cream, ofGrimaldi farm is made with the “Tonda di Giffoni” cultivar hazelnut it is characterized by the perfectly rounded shape of the seed (the shelled hazelnut), which has a white and firm pulp, with an aromatic flavor, and covered by a brown perisperm (the film), thin and easily detachable.
Grimaldi produces its own hazelnuts without the use of fungicides, herbicides and synthetic additives. The lands are fertilized with organic substances and irrigated by pristine springs; they are also equipped with nets which ensure the absolute integrity of the fruit, preventing their contact with the ground. Drying takes place in the sun on metal meshes that guarantee adequate ventilation. Finally, the product is packaged by hand without the use of additives or preservatives.
The consumption of hazelnuts protects against atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases, thanks to a concentration of reserve substances (lipids) rich in monounsaturated fats, such as oleic acid, which has the function of severely limiting cholesterol levels in the bloodstream . Not only that, the Joy hazelnut cream with the “Tonda di Giffoni” hazelnut contains vitamin E, B, C, as well as minerals such as iron, copper, zinc, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium and seleniumessential for the proper functioning of the cellular system. Furthermore, the presence of a moderate dose of potassium makes hazelnuts particularly suitable for the diet of pregnant women.

I 25 ettari di terreno dove la famiglia Grimaldi coltiva la pregiatissima Nocciola tonda di Giffoni e le Noce di Sorrento si trova ai confini dell'area protetta del Parco Regionale dei Monti Picentini, in provincia di Salerno. Da tre generazioni questa famiglia coltiva e produce nel pieno rispetto della natura e dei suoi cicli, senza l'uso di anticrittogamici, erbicidi o concimi chimici, in un ambiente incontaminato.
Una volta raccolti, i frutti vengono essiccati al sole, dolcemente e in modo del tutto naturale. Il processo di lavorazione successivo è completamente artigianale, privo di additivi e conservanti. Il prodotto che ne deriva è estremamente pregiato e racchiude in sé non solo tutte le proprietà benefiche di questi frutti, ma anche tutto il loro inteso e unico aroma.
